Speciality Care Coordination

SHCS providers may refer out for specific needs or concerns. Common women's health specialty care needs are obstetrics, dysplasia clinic, breast center and pregnancy termination or abortion (see below). 

» Pregnancy Termination: SHCS has contracted with Planned Parenthood for pregnancy termination (abortion). With a documented referral from SHCS, patients can be seen at Planned Parenthood for a $100 co-pay. This contract is negotiated by SHCS and is not part of the Student Insurance Plan. To inquire about this service, make an appointment with a SHCS primary care provider.
