Student Health and Counseling Services needs to authorize all visits before any payments will be made.

Claims are managed outside of SHCS, so make sure that your claim is submitted and received by Personal Insurance Administrators (PIA). To verify that your claim was received, call PIA at 1-800-468-4343. The insurance company also sends you Explanation of Benefits when claims are processed.
