International SOS
The Student Insurance Plan provides travel insurance benefits through International SOS. International SOS provides emergency assistance with both medical and travel needs.
• Medical advice is available 24 hours a day via telephone access, including assistance with obtaining urgent care and/or medical evacuation as needed.
• Online information and location-specific health and security advisories are available.
• SOS can also provide legal referrals, assist with replacing/recovering lost or stolen passports and credit cards, provide emergency translation/interpreter services.

NOTE ABOUT BILLING: Most foreign clinics and providers will not bill your insurance directly and will require you to pay your bill at the time care is rendered. To get reimbursed, you will need to submit your receipt and a copy of your medical record or doctor's notes to Personal Insurance Administrators. It is often impossible to obtain foreign medical records once you have departed the area, so be sure to obtain this paperwork before you return home.
