The following programs are designed to introduce you to UCSF faculty, residents and postdocs who are first gen and interested in supporting you.

Welcome Reception

Thanks to all who attended the first gen welcome reception on January 26, 2011. We hope you felt welcomed and enjoyed the opportunity to meet the first gen community of students, postdocs, residents and faculty at UCSF and get to know each other as people.

Panel Presentation

Looking for some inspiration and wisdom from people who have gone before you?

Join us for a panel presentation of faculty/residents/postdocs who are themselves first generation to college and/or grad school and share with you their journey to becoming the professionals they are today. Bring your curiosity and your questions.
