Due to evolving COVID-19 changes, Parnassus and Mission Bay clinic hours of operations have changed. Some services may be modified or reduced beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020 until further notice.

For your safety and to minimize the potential of virus exposure for our patients and staff, we are screening all patients via phone or secure messaging before scheduling any appointments. As a result, we have temporarily disabled online scheduling and we are not taking walk-ins.

Mission Bay: Monday - Friday
*Closed daily from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch. Please arrive at the time your appointment is scheduled. There will be no waiting area in the clinic.

After Hours*:
Monday and Wednesday: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Service Modification and How to Best Access Service


  • For life-threatening emergencies, proceed directly to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
  • All in-person visits have been curtailed. All visits will be conducted by phone or HIPAA-compliant Zoom meeting.
  • If you have symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, or if you've had close sustained contact with a known positive COVID-19 case, do not come in. Send a secure message to the Student Health Nurse.
  • For all general medical concerns please call us first at 415-476-8736. This will allow us to assess your needs and best direct you. In many cases, we will be able to manage your concerns through a provider phone or tele-medicine visit.
  • To book routine appointments, please call 415-476-1281. There is no online scheduling available at this time.


Counseling and Psychiatry Services

  • Our counseling and psychiatry model has been adjusted to meet the immediate needs of students and to preserve the health of students and staff.
  • All in-person visits have been curtailed. All visits will be conducted by phone or HIPAA-compliant Zoom meeting.
  • If you are new to Counseling Services, please give us a call 415-476-1281 to schedule a phone appointment.
  • If you have a current mental health provider and would like an appointment with your provider, please contact them via secure message.
  • Same Day web booked appointments are available via the portal (beginning Monday, March 30, 2020).
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • For after-hours support, including evenings and weekends, please call 415-476-1281 (option 2) to speak with a mental health clinician.
